Janus Electric Holdings Ben Hutt talked with Proactive about the company’s latest strategy update, outlining its global expansion plans, growing sales pipeline, and early traction in the United States market.
Hutt explained that Janus is seeing strong international demand for its diesel-to-electric truck conversion model, supported by a global push toward decarbonisation and rising fuel costs. The company has now secured its first US state government-backed incentives in California through the Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP), with each voucher providing US$112,500 per vehicle.
Hutt also outlined expectations for significant revenue growth, with the potential to reach substantial scale over the next 12 to 18 months as pipeline opportunities convert into orders.
