Oracle Power shares jump on new drill data

Oracle Power PLC (AIM:ORCP) shares jumped some 29% higher, to 0.065p, in Wednesday morning's trade after the small-cap mining firm said its its first 2026 drilling campaign at the Northern Zone gold project in Western Australia has delivered assays of up to 71 g/t gold, with management flagging some of the best grade-and-width results seen so far from a single programme at the asset.

The latest results came from a further 31 drillholes at the project, located 25 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie.

Standout intercepts included 15 metres at 5.62 g/t gold from 48 metres in hole NZAC214, 8 metres at 9.90 g/t from 48 metres in NZAC216, 8 metres at 4.64 g/t from 48 metres in NZAC213 and 10 metres at 3.81 g/t from 30 metres in GEO004.

Oracle said the drilling successfully tested the shallow “saddle” area and intersected mineralisation between the central saddle and eastern zone.
