Quadrise PLC (AIM:QED) has announced that long-serving director, Laurie Mutch, has stepped down from the board with immediate effect, marking the end of a 20-year tenure as the group pushes towards commercial scale-up.
The AIM-listed fuel technology company said Mutch has also resigned as chair of the audit committee and as a member of the remuneration and nomination committees. His responsibilities on the audit and remuneration committees will be assumed by Michael Covington.
Quadrise noted that Mutch had provided continuity, deep corporate knowledge and independent oversight through multiple phases of the company’s development. Although he has stepped down as a director, he will remain involved in assisting with transition and handover arrangements.
Chair Andy Morrison said Mutch’s contribution had been “outstanding” and credited his guidance and commitment to governance as Quadrise evolved “from a technology developer into a business approaching commercial scale-up”
