Terrain Minerals Ltd executive director Justin Virgin talked with Proactive about fresh high-grade gold drilling results from the company’s Lightning prospect at its 100%-owned Smokebush project in Western Australia.
Virgin explained that the latest assays confirm the continuity of mineralisation along strike and at depth, while also expanding the overall scale of the system. The results build on previous drilling campaigns and further validate the company’s geological model.
The drilling program has extended mineralisation both north-south and deeper. These outcomes support the delivery of a maiden mineral resource estimate targeted for mid-2026, which is expected to be a key milestone in advancing the project.
Virgin also pointed to the company’s existing mining lease and its ambition to move towards production, with discussions already underway around potential pathways to early cash flow.
