Novo Resources appoints GM of exploration ahead of Wyloo drilling

Novo Resources Corp (TSX:NVO, OTCQX:NSRPF, ASX:NVO, FRA:1NOR) has appointed experienced geologist Rohan Williams as general manager of exploration, effective April 15, 2026.

Williams, who replaces Karen de Luca after eight years of dedicated service, brings more than 30 years of experience across exploration, feasibility, open pit and underground mining, and resource development in Australia, Africa and Southeast Asia.

His background spans commodities including gold, copper, lithium, manganese, base metals, graphite, tungsten and rare earth elements, and includes management and feasibility study work for ASX-, TSX- and LSE-listed companies.

Before joining Novo, Williams was group geologist at Gylden Resources, where he provided geological and technical support as well as broader geological oversight.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology with honours from the University of Tasmania and a Graduate Certificate in Business from the University of Western Australia.

Drilling to begin at Wyloo

Williams comes in as Novo is translating fresh funding into exploration activity, with drilling due to begin later this month at its Wyloo antimony project in the Pilbara as part of a broader push across its Western Australian portfolio.

The campaign will mark the company’s first drill testing at Wyloo and is expected to deliver an initial assessment of the target’s antimony and polymetallic potential, following earlier sampling and follow-up work.

For Novo, the program represents an important step in advancing Wyloo from target generation to drill testing, while also laying the groundwork for follow-up campaigns at Cronus and Balla Balla later in the second quarter.
