Voltaic Strategic Resources Ltd (ASX:VSR) is set to strengthen its position in Western Australia’s emerging Gascoyne lithium province through the proposed acquisition of a strategically located exploration licence adjacent to its Ti Tree project.
The company has agreed to acquire 100% of Industrial Metals Pty Ltd, which holds exploration licence E09/2833, located immediately next to Voltaic’s existing tenure and contiguous with Delta Lithium’s Yinnetharra project.
The move expands Voltaic’s footprint along the interpreted Volta Corridor, a prospective zone within the broader Ti Tree–Yinnetharra district.

The acquisition will be completed via the issue of 2,500,000 shares at $0.04 each, implying a total transaction value of $100,000, subject to standard conditions including due diligence and regulatory approvals.
“The proposed acquisition of E09/2833 is a logical and highly complementary addition to Voltaic’s Ti Tree Project portfolio. The tenement strengthens our position in the broader Yinnetharra district, adjoining our existing landholding and immediately adjacent to Delta Lithium’s mining lease, in an area that has already demonstrated significant lithium, tantalum and associated critical minerals prospectivity,” Voltaic chairman, Daniel Raihani, said.
Positioned near defined resources
The tenement sits adjacent to Delta Lithium’s growing Yinnetharra resource base, which includes:
- 21.9Mt at 1.0% Li₂O lithium resource
- 39.4Mt at 102ppm Ta₂O₅ tantalum resource
- Higher-grade zones such as 0.8Mt at 1.66% Li₂O at the Jameson deposit
This proximity places Voltaic in a proven mineralised corridor with established lithium-tantalum systems.
Strong geological potential
The newly acquired ground is considered highly prospective, underpinned by:
- Leake Spring Metamorphics intruded by fertile granites of the Thirty Three Supersuite
- Extensive pegmatite veins and dykes, consistent with lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) systems
- Historical evidence of rare-element pegmatites and small-scale workings for mica, beryl and tantalum
A broader data review suggests the area remains underexplored, with historical work targeting individual commodities rather than assessing its full multi-commodity potential.
Low-cost growth strategy
The transaction is a low-cost, script-based acquisition that enhances exploration optionality while consolidating ground in a highly prospective district.
The addition is expected to provide greater scale and flexibility as Voltaic continues to build a district-wide land position.

Following completion, Voltaic plans to advance exploration across the expanded project area, including:
- Review and integration of historical datasets
- Field reconnaissance and geological mapping
- Systematic rock chip sampling targeting pegmatites and anomalous zones
- Acquisition of high-resolution imagery and geophysical data
- Development of drill-ready targets
The company is also progressing heritage agreements across its broader Ti Tree tenure, with a view to unlocking further exploration access and advancing toward drilling.
