MTI Wireless Edge Limited (AIM:MWE) shares advanced in Monday's early trade, climbing 12% to 69p, after it secured a further US$2 million military antenna order, extending a brisk start to April in which the AIM-listed group says it has booked around US$8 million of defence-related business.
The latest contract, awarded to MTI’s antenna division by an existing local defence customer, covers the supply of military antennas and is due to be delivered during 2026 and 2027.
Chief executive Moni Borovitz said the recent run of wins reflects the company’s own expectations for stronger demand across its defence-related product range. He said order intake in the first two weeks of April had reached approximately US$8 million.
