Eden Research PLC (AIM:EDEN, OTCQB:EDNSF, FRA:9T7) shares started Friday's session on the front foot, after it confirmed it had completed a conditional placing, finalising a fundraise worth around £10.8 million.
The sustainable biopesticides group said the fundraising total includes the firm placing, firm subscription, retail offer and conditional placing first announced in February. With the remaining conditions now satisfied, 190,000,000 new ordinary shares are due to be admitted to AIM at 8.00am on or around 13 April 2026.
Proceeds of the placing are intended to expedite commercialisation of the company's products, potentially cutting its timeline by as much as 3 years, it said in February, with an earlier market entry and a faster progression to revenue generation expected.
The small-cap share quickly climbed in opening trades, reaching 3p, before easing to 2.8p.
