RentGuarantor jumps as revenue more than doubles ahead of Renters' Rights Act

RentGuarantor Holdings PLC (AIM:RGG) shares rose 14.8% to 26.98p after reporting that first-quarter revenue more than doubled.

The company, which provides rent guarantee services to tenants and landlords, said revenue for the three months to March rose 105% year-on-year to £882,428, driven by a jump in tenant contracts.

The number of completed contracts more than doubled to 1,145, reflecting stronger demand and increased marketing activity ahead of the Renters' Rights Act due in May.

The company said performance exceeded its own forecasts and it is cautiously optimistic that full-year 2026 revenue will come in ahead of market expectations if current momentum continues.

Chief executive Paul Foy said the quarter "was another fantastic period for the company, with year-on-year revenue more than doubling."

During the quarter, the group signed a two-year partnership with the National Residential Landlords Association and agreed a licence deal with mydeposits.co.uk to develop a rent deposit product.

It also launched a new website and continued investing in artificial intelligence tools to support future growth and processing capacity.

The company added that it continues to see strong demand across the UK private rental sector as regulatory changes approach.
