European Green Transition PLC (AIM:EGT) told investors its Wind Energy Services business has built a £126 million repowering opportunity pipeline, as the AIM-listed group pointed to rising demand for onshore wind upgrades after last year’s UK planning policy shift.
In a Q1 operational update, the company said its repowering order book and pipeline stood at 55 signed heads of terms, 25 planning approvals granted, 13 project commencements with deposits received and three completed repowers as of 31 March 2026.
EGT said it is currently engaged with around 280 qualified prospects across its existing base of roughly 900 turbines.
Using a typical repowering contract value of about £450,000, the group said that prospect pool represents a potential £126 million revenue opportunity.
The company added that the update builds on its oversubscribed £7.5 million fundraise and the completed acquisition of the Wind Energy Services platform, which operates under the Earthmill Maintenance, Silverford Engineering and Wind Energy Partnership brands.
Management said it has strong visibility over near- and medium-term revenue and expects further progress in Q2, including more signed repowering heads of terms and increased operational delivery.
Wind Energy Services managing director Dave Broadbank said the business had started 2026 with “strong momentum” and reiterated EGT’s medium-term target of £50 million in group revenue with a double-digit EBITDA margin.
"In an environment where energy security is a growing priority for us all, demand for onshore wind and repowering solutions continues to build," Broadbank said.
"With supportive policy tailwinds and clear visibility over future projects, we are confident in our ability to deliver significant growth in 2026 and beyond and of reaching our medium-term target of £50 million Group revenue and double-digit EBITDA margin."
