Dell is well-positioned for enterprise AI growth, says Bank of America

Dell Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:DELL) is well-positioned to capitalize on enterprise AI growth, according to Bank of America analysts who cited insights from CEO Michael Dell during the firm’s recent “View from the Top” call series.

The analysts highlighted that Dell’s scale and long-standing supplier relationships give it a competitive edge during periods of disruption.

“Decades-long supplier relationships, scale advantages, and the ability to quickly re-configure products allow Dell to maintain performance during periods of disruption,” they wrote.

Analysts also noted that Dell’s pricing approach helps protect margins in inflationary environments, where supply availability can matter more than cost.

On AI, the analysts said enterprise adoption is accelerating, and hybrid deployments are likely to be favored over time. They highlighted that smaller, open AI models “support a widening customer base and a greater number of deployments for Dell,” and that early adoption of agentic AI is expected to drive significantly higher usage across enterprises.

Reflecting these factors, Bank of America analysts reiterated a Buy rating on Dell and raised the price target to $205, citing “increased confidence in Dell’s ability to drive meaningful share gains and navigate current industry supply dynamics with low risk to H2 estimates.”

Shares of Dell traded up 3.4% at about $184 on Wednesday morning.
