Greatland Resources Ltd (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF, FRA:G8G, ASX:GGP) has delivered quarterly gold production of 82,723 ounces for the March 2026 quarter, while lifting its cash position by $260 million to $1.208 billion.
The company also produced 4,128 tonnes of copper during the quarter, taking year-to-date FY26 production to 249,887 ounces of gold and 11,022 tonnes of copper.
Sales for the period reached 97,800 ounces of gold and 4,620 tonnes of copper, with year-to-date sales of 252,212 ounces of gold and 10,333 tonnes of copper.
Greatland said all-in sustaining cost for the March quarter was still being finalised and would be reported in its full quarterly activities report later this month.
Strong cash generation supports debt-free balance sheet
The company ended the quarter with $1.208 billion in cash, up from $948 million at December 31, 2025, and remained debt free. The $260 million cash build was achieved after capital expenditure and a $73 million tax payment relating to the FY25 period. Greatland said it would begin making regular cash tax instalments from April 2026.
It also retained full upside exposure to the gold price, with partial downside protection through gold put options.
Addressing potential risks linked to the conflict in the Middle East, the company said it was closely monitoring possible supply chain and cost impacts.
The Telfer operation had not been affected by diesel supply disruptions, with fuel supplied directly via Port Hedland under a long-term contract with a global oil major.
Power for Telfer’s processing plant is generated on site using natural gas delivered through the Pilbara Pipeline System from Western Australian gas production. Greatland added that Telfer’s underground operation uses an electric shaft hoist, reducing diesel intensity for its highest-grade ore sources.
At the end of March 2026, Telfer also held surface stockpiles of 22 million tonnes grading 0.36 g/t gold and 0.05% copper, which Greatland estimated would provide more than 12 months of mill feed.
Looking ahead, the company said it expected FY26 production to come in around, or slightly above, the upper end of its guidance range of 260,000 to 310,000 ounces of gold.
Greatland plans to release its full March 2026 quarterly activities report later in April, with a webcast to be held the same day.
