Small Cap Watch: RMI defines Saudi targets, Novo readies drilling, Greatland builds cash

Small caps are stepping into a stronger session, with ASX futures jumping after a ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran lifted global risk sentiment and extended a rebound across equities.

With volatility still elevated but buyers returning, today’s small-cap flow reflects a mix of exploration progress, funding updates and early-stage commercial wins.

RMI sharpens Saudi copper-gold targets

Resource Minerals International Ltd (ASX:RMI) has identified large-scale magnetic anomalies at its Wadi Salamah project in Saudi Arabia, pointing to potential porphyry copper-molybdenum systems.

High-grade surface results, including gold grades above 10g/t, have helped define three priority drill targets ahead of a planned 5,000-metre maiden program.

Novo lines up Pilbara drilling campaign

Novo Resources Corp (TSX:NVO, OTCQX:NSRPF, ASX:NVO, FRA:1NOR) is preparing to kick off drilling across multiple Pilbara targets, led by a maiden RC program at its Wyloo antimony project.

The program follows a recent capital raise and will also test gold prospects at Cronus and Balla Balla, as the company advances a broader multi-commodity exploration push.

Greatland builds cash as production holds steady

Greatland Resources Ltd (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF, FRA:G8G, ASX:GGP) reported quarterly production of 82,723 ounces of gold, alongside a $260 million increase in cash to $1.2 billion.

The company expects full-year output to track towards the top end of guidance, while highlighting limited exposure to current fuel supply disruptions.

FireFly drilling strengthens high-grade copper-gold case

FireFly Metals Ltd (ASX:FFM, TSX:FFM, OTC:MNXMF) has delivered further strong drilling results at its Green Bay project in Canada, with thick high-grade intersections reinforcing continuity in its core zone.

The results are expected to support resource upgrades and upcoming economic studies, with early mining scenarios likely to prioritise high-grade zones.

Lindian boosts balance sheet through option conversion

Lindian Resources Ltd (ASX:LIN, OTC:LINIF) has raised around $6 million through the exercise and underwriting of expiring options, strengthening its funding position.

The proceeds will support development of the Kangankunde rare earths project and associated downstream initiatives.

Orthocell sidesteps US tariff risk

Orthocell Ltd (ASX:OCC, OTC:ORHHF) said its Remplir nerve repair product is not expected to be impacted by proposed US pharmaceutical tariffs, given its classification as a medical device.

The update removes a potential overhang as the company continues to scale its US rollout, where around 4,000 units are already in market.

Lumos lands manufacturing deal and first order

Lumos Diagnostics Holdings Ltd (ASX:LDX, OTC:LDXHF) has secured a three-year contract manufacturing agreement with Micro-Pak for its mould detection system, alongside an initial US$250,000 purchase order.

The deal marks a shift from development to commercial-scale production within Lumos’ services division, adding a new revenue stream to the business.
