Rivian Automotive Inc (NASDAQ:RIVN) exceeded Wall Street expectations for first-quarter vehicle deliveries, the electric vehicle maker said on Thursday, while reaffirming its full-year production outlook.
The company delivered 10,365 vehicles in the quarter, beating analysts’ estimates of 9,678 vehicles, according to market data. Production for the period totaled 10,236 vehicles.
Rivian reiterated its 2026 delivery guidance of 62,000 to 67,000 vehicles, signaling confidence in its manufacturing ramp despite a challenging demand environment for electric vehicles.
The outlook implies a significant acceleration in deliveries through the remainder of the year, with quarterly volumes expected to nearly double compared with the first quarter.
Shares of Rivian were down about 1.2% in early trading on Thursday.
The company is scheduled to report its full first-quarter financial results on April 30.
