1911 Gold reports high-grade results from True North underground drilling

1911 Gold Corp (TSX-V:AUMB, OTCQB:AUMBF, FRA:2KY) said on Thursday that its underground drilling program at the True North project in Manitoba has returned high-grade gold results, confirming continuity in key areas targeted for early production.

Highlighted intercepts from the latest drilling include 9.51 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 3.5 metres in hole UG16-26-038, with higher-grade intervals of 12.7 g/t over 0.7 metres and 30.7 g/t over 0.6 metres.

The program was designed to refine mineral resources outlined in the company’s recent Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) and support planned development and mining activities.

According to the company, the results confirm the continuity of gold mineralization within the Hinge Zone’s V-810 vein, a key area included in the early years of the mine plan. The zone is located adjacent to Level 16, approximately 695 metres below surface.

Additional results include 12 g/t over 1 metre and 7.44 g/t over 0.5 metres in hole UG16-26-046, and 6.71 g/t over 2 metres in hole UG16-26-041, including 11.4 g/t over 0.8 metres.

The latest results complete the delineation drill program at Hinge, where a total of 31 drill holes have now been completed for 4,608 metres. The drilling was conducted on approximately 15-metre spacing to upgrade resource confidence and support detailed mine planning.

The company stated that the results align with previous drilling, indicating a consistent zone of higher-grade gold mineralization approximately 40 metres wide and extending about 100 metres down plunge. Geological interpretation suggests the mineralization follows a “pinch-and-swell” pattern typical of shear-hosted vein systems.

"Drilling has confirmed mineralization within the targeted V-810 vein within Hinge, an area that will be considered for test mining activities later in the year,” 1911 Gold CEO Shaun Heinrichs said in a statement.

In addition to confirming known mineralization, several drill holes intersected gold outside the currently modelled veins. Preliminary interpretation indicates the presence of a potential parallel vein system, which is not included in the current resource estimate or mine plan. Further analysis is underway to assess its continuity and potential contribution to future resources.

The underground drilling program has focused on areas accessible from existing development on Level 16 and targeted zones scheduled for early production. Results from the delineation program will be incorporated into updated geological models to refine resource estimates and optimize stope design.

Beyond the Hinge Zone, the company continues exploration drilling across the broader True North mine footprint. This includes underground work at the Shore target and the San Antonio Southeast extension, as well as surface drilling to test near-surface mineralization at multiple targets. Additional results from these programs are expected as assays are received.

1911 Gold also noted plans to expand drilling activity, with two surface rigs currently in operation and a third underground rig expected to be mobilized.

“We currently have two drills on surface and plan to mobilize a third underground drill rig over the next month which will continue to provide infill and resource expansion results as we expand our resource base in 2026 and advance towards the planned mine restart in 2027,” Heinrichs concluded.
