Askari Metals highlights Uis polymetallic potential

Askari Metals highlights Uis polymetallic potential

Askari Metals Ltd executive director Gino D’Anna talked with Proactive about new Phase 1 trenching results from the company’s Uis Project in Namibia, where work at the OP pegmatite target has confirmed continuous polymetallic mineralisation across a large-scale system.

D’Anna said the project is strategically positioned next to the operating Uis tin mine, and explained that the latest trenching results support the presence of the same style of mineralisation seen in the surrounding area. He described the OP pegmatite target as having a strike length of about 2.2 kilometres and a surface width of roughly 15 to 30 metres, highlighting the potential scale of the system.

D’Anna also noted that the pegmatite is weathered at surface, meaning the company expects stronger assay results once drilling reaches fresh rock.
