A first quarter trading statement will be wheeled into view on Wednesday for investors from bikes and car part firm Halfords (LON:HFD), while luxury clothes brand Burberry (LON:BRBY) also updates the market.
Indeed, it's is expected to be a turbulent week for the firm, as one group has advised shareholders to vote against chief executive Christopher Bailey's excessive pay at the AGM on Thursday.
He was awarded a £7.9mln package last year.
Meanwhile, in terms of Q1 numbers, broker Hargreaves Lansdown reckon it will post sales up by between 6% and 7% compared with 9% rise at the previous half-year.
China is expected to be where it has seen the strongest performance.
Halfords shares have done well in recent weeks and they stand at around 547.5p around 20% higher than they were on May 1.
City firm Numis noted that at its recent full year results, the group reported PBT (profit before tax of) of £81.1mln, a rise of 11% year-on-year, and a touch ahead of consensus, which was around 79 mln.
It rates the stock an 'add'.
The full year numbers came after a strong fourth quarter, which saw retail LFLs come in at plus 7.5%.
Numis analyst Andrew Wade says looking ahead to the first quarter, Numis expects retail LFLs to slow, given the substantial weather benefit for cycling in Q1 last year and there to be a 0.5-1.0% drag from the Easter timing shift.
"We look for LFLs of +3.0%, a touch behind consensus (+4.1%) but expect no change to FY guidance or consensus estimates.
"We remain positive, continuing to believe that the improvements made to the business, recognising Halfords' areas of strength, investing in and reinvigorating staff, and launching a series of sensible operational retail initiatives should continue to support progress."
Last month, the firm saw annual revenues pedal past £1bn for the first time thanks to a customer service push and new cycle ranges.
In the first update since new boss Jill McDonald joined from McDonald's in May, replacing Matt Davies, the firm had said sales at its cycling division were up 11.4%.
