Bioxyne Ltd (ASX:BXN, FRA:PR8) has signed a manufacturing agreement with Aurora Cannabis Inc (TSX:ACB, NASDAQ:ACB), giving the Australian company a supply deal with one of the world’s largest medical cannabis producers and broadening its reach across regulated international markets.
The agreement, signed through Bioxyne’s wholly owned subsidiary Breathe Life Sciences (BLS), initially covers the manufacture of GMP-certified medicinal cannabis oils for the Australian market, with first deliveries already completed.
The deal is also set to expand into GMP-manufactured cannabis vapes, which Bioxyne says will be supplied into Australia, the United Kingdom and Germany.
This is a significant deal, as it moves the company beyond its role as a domestic manufacturer and places it within Aurora’s global supply chain, supporting its push to become a pharmaceutical-grade cannabis producer serving multiple overseas jurisdictions.
It also provides third-party validation of Bioxyne’s GMP manufacturing capability, particularly in precision-dosed cannabis products, in an industry where regulatory compliance and product consistency are critical to securing supply contracts.
Manufacturing for regulated markets
The partnership highlights Bioxyne's ability to manufacture cannabis products for highly regulated markets and demonstrates that its production platform could support scalable volumes for international customers.
By securing Aurora as a manufacturing partner, Bioxyne strengthens its credentials in medicinal cannabis manufacturing at a time when access to compliant production is increasingly important for companies targeting Australia and European markets.
The inclusion of the UK and Germany in the planned vape rollout is also notable, as both markets are part of Bioxyne’s broader international growth opportunity and could help diversify revenue beyond Australia.
