Nextech3D.ai CEO increases stake with open market purchase

Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF, FRA:1SS) announced that its CEO Evan Gappelberg has acquired an additional 500,000 common shares through open market purchases.

The shares were purchased at an average price of C$0.12 per share.

Following the transaction, Gappelberg beneficially owns or controls more than 30 million common shares in the company, which is focused on generative AI-powered event technology and 3D modeling solutions.

According to the company, the purchase was made for investment purposes and signals the CEO’s confidence in Nextech3D.ai’s growth strategy, particularly in relation to enterprise adoption of its AI-driven event platform.

Gappelberg said he believes the company’s current market valuation does not reflect its recent operational progress. He pointed to reported financial metrics, including gross margins of 95% and year-over-year revenue growth of 59%, as indicators of underlying performance.

“With our unified AI Event Operating System gaining traction with Tier 1 clients, I see this as an asymmetric opportunity to build my position while the valuation remains at these levels,” Gappelberg said.

Nextech3D.ai reported a number of developments in early 2026, including profitability within its Krafty Labs division and the addition of 50 new customer contracts since January.

The company said that its platform is being adopted by Fortune 1000 companies for services such as event registration, interactive mapping, and AI-based engagement tools.

Management indicated that a strategic shift toward higher-margin software-as-a-service (SaaS) revenue, along with a recent price increase of 20% to 30%, could support future scalability. The company operates within the global events industry, which it cites as a market valued at approximately $1.5 trillion.
