Temas Resources Corp (CSE:TMAS, OTCQB:TMASF, FRA:26P, ASX:TIO) has established a Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) to support the commercial rollout and global development of its proprietary Regenerative Chloride Leaching (RCL) technology, as the company looks to expand licensing and partnership opportunities.
The board brings together hydrometallurgical and process experts to guide technical development, scale-up and deployment, while also assisting in assessing third-party mineral deposits and tailings for potential application of the RCL platform.
Strengthening technical capability
The SAB includes industry specialists with extensive experience across geology, metallurgy and process engineering, including SAB chair David Caldwell and RCL co-founder Dr Vaikuntam Lakshmanan.
Temas said the group would provide independent technical input across process optimisation and commercialisation pathways, complementing its internal R&D capabilities as the technology moves towards broader industry adoption.
Management flagged plans to expand the advisory board further in coming months, adding additional global experts as development progresses.
Supporting licensing and global deployment
The advisory board will also play a role in evaluating joint venture and licensing opportunities, particularly by assessing third-party feedstocks that could be processed using RCL.
Temas’ RCL platform is designed to extract metals from complex ores, concentrates and tailings, with potential applications across critical minerals, rare earths, battery metals and precious metals.
The company says the technology operates at lower temperatures and atmospheric pressure, with a closed-loop reagent system aimed at reducing operating costs and environmental impact compared with conventional processing methods.
As Temas advances its dual strategy of technology licensing and project development, the SAB is expected to play a central role in bridging technical validation with commercial execution.
