Synchronoss Technologies names Pat Doran as CEO following Lumine Group acquisition

Synchronoss Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:SNCR, FRA:H6K0) announced that it has appointed Pat Doran as chief executive officer, marking a leadership transition following the company’s recent acquisition by Lumine Group.

Doran succeeds former CEO Jeff Miller and chief financial officer Lou Ferraro, both of whom have stepped down after the transaction closed.

The company said the appointment is intended to provide continuity and support ongoing operations as Synchronoss enters its next phase under new ownership.

Doran brings experience in technology, operations and global business leadership, and has been involved in shaping the company’s strategy in recent years. He is also described as one of the company’s original founding technologists.

“Synchronoss has a strong foundation, a talented global team, and a well-established position in personal cloud,” Doran said in a statement. “Having been one of the original founding technologists, I’m honoured to step into this role and lead the company as it enters this next chapter.”

As part of the transition, Synchronoss said it is refining its organizational structure internally to better align with operating priorities and support the delivery of its cloud solutions to telecom customers globally.

Doran also acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing executives. “We are grateful to Jeff and Lou for their leadership and contributions to Synchronoss,” he said. “They have helped guide the company through an important period and developed a strong culture of innovation.”

The company said it remains focused on supporting its telecom partners, advancing innovation and expanding its personal cloud platform capabilities. Additional updates on leadership and organizational changes are expected to be announced in due course.
