Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF, FRA:1SS) said on Thursday it has expanded payment capabilities for its blockchain-based ticketing platform, adding Apple Pay and Google Pay as it moves closer to broader commercial deployment across enterprise and public-sector events.
The company said the new integrations build on its recent addition of cryptocurrency payments via BitPay, creating a more comprehensive payment ecosystem aimed at improving accessibility for mainstream users.
The upgraded infrastructure is part of Nextech3D.ai’s final preparations before scaling the platform, which is designed to support large events hosted by enterprises, associations and government organizations.
Nextech3D.ai’s ticketing system uses a custodial wallet model that allows users to purchase blockchain-verified tickets without needing prior experience with digital assets. Attendees can pay using traditional methods such as credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, or opt for cryptocurrency, with a secure wallet automatically created at checkout.
Each ticket is minted as a verifiable on-chain asset, enabling features such as fraud prevention, immutable ownership records and programmable resale controls, the company said.
The platform also supports NFT-based tickets built on ERC-721 and ERC-1155 standards, along with on-chain verification at entry and configurable transfer rules. Nextech3D.ai said its system is designed to meet compliance and auditability requirements, making it suitable for regulated environments.
CEO Evan Gappelberg said the expanded payment options are aimed at accelerating adoption beyond crypto-native audiences.
“This expansion is about scale,” Gappelberg said. “By combining blockchain security with the payment methods people already use every day, we're positioning this platform for real‑world adoption across thousands of events - not just crypto‑native use cases.”
Beyond ticketing, Nextech3D.ai said the underlying wallet and payment infrastructure could support future applications such as digital credentials and token-based engagement, providing additional growth opportunities as the platform rolls out more widely.
