Small Cap Watch: S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries lifts despite weekly pullback

The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries (ASX: XSO) has risen 44.20 points, or 1.37%, to 3,274.90 in early trade, trimming some of the losses recorded over the past five sessions, where the index remains down 132.50 points or 3.89%.

Janus Electric Holdings

Janus Electric Holdings Ltd (ASX:JNS) has appointed Ton van Hoof as chief financial officer, effective 23 March 2026. He brings more than 20 years of finance leadership experience across listed and private companies in transport, aviation, technology and payments, most recently serving as CFO and deputy CEO of A2B Australia Ltd, where he played a role in its turnaround, delisting and acquisition.

Percheron Therapeutics

Percheron Therapeutics Ltd (ASX:PER, OTC:PERCF) has opened its non-renounceable pro rata entitlement offer to eligible shareholders, with the prospectus and personalised entitlement and acceptance forms now available.

American Rare Earths

American Rare Earths Ltd (ASX:ARR, OTCQX:ARRNF) has engaged a US-based exploration and geoscience consultancy to review historical data and design a follow-up work program at its La Paz Project in Arizona. The program will target gold, silver, copper and other non-rare earth critical minerals.

Flynn Gold

Flynn Gold Ltd (ASX:FG1) reported updated exploration results from its 100%-owned Firetower Gold-Tungsten Project in northwest Tasmania. Re-sampling of historical drill holes using improved analytical techniques continues to refine tungsten grades, with holes 2019FTD011 and 2019FTD012 returning assays above 0.5% WO₃. Planned drill hole extensions aim to test for higher-grade mineralisation at depth.

True North Copper

True North Copper Ltd (ASX:TNC) has secured a Queensland Government Collaborative Exploration Initiative (CEI) grant of about $250,000 to fund advanced geophysical surveying at its Mt Oxide Copper Project, located 140km north of Mt Isa. The program will focus on the Mt Gordon and Dorman Fault Zones, prospective structures along strike from existing resources and discoveries.

Emyria

Emyria Ltd (ASX:EMD) provided an update on its first Victorian-based Empax clinic, with patient treatments on track to commence in Q2 CY2026. The clinic forms part of the company’s broader national rollout strategy and is expected to expand capacity for reimbursable, evidence-based mental health treatments.
