Optima Health PLC (AIM:OPT, OTC:OHLTF, FRA:J3N) provided investors with the planned transition of its chief financial officer role in the coming months as it completes the acquisition of PAM Healthcare.
The corporate health and wellbeing specialist said current CFO, Heidi Giles, will leave on 31 July and, subject to the successful completion of PAM Healthcare, Andrew Bones will be appointed interim CFO. Bones is PAM's current CFO.
Giles will remain a director of the company during this period and continue in her current role to facilitate a smooth transition, Optima said.
Optima last month agreed to acquire PAM Healthcare, an occupational health and wellness services provider in the UK and Ireland, for roughly £100 million in cash. Completion is conditional only on clearance under Ireland’s foreign direct investment screening regime, which is expected within 90 days of signing.
Chief executive Jonathan Thomas said Giles had "made a significant contribution to the success of Optima Health, bringing professionalism, expertise, and rigour to our financials and through wider support throughout the business".
He hailed her work as fundamental to the 2024 IPO and strategic progress since. "Heidi has been a great colleague and business partner, and I thank her for her service to Optima Health and wish her nothing but the best in her future."
