Astrid Intelligence expands stake in Bittensor lead generation subnet to £500,000

Decentralised AI infrastructure company says Leadpoet position has grown through network emissions since initial December commitment

Astrid Intelligence PLC (AQSE:ASTR), the decentralised artificial intelligence infrastructure company listed on the Aquis Stock Exchange, has increased its position in Subnet 71, a lead generation network operating within the Bittensor ecosystem, to around £500,000.

Bittensor is a decentralised network that incentivises the development and deployment of AI services using a cryptocurrency token called TAO, with individual subnets focusing on specific use cases.

Astrid initially committed 2,000 TAO tokens to Subnet 71, known as Leadpoet, on 1 December 2025 at a cost of approximately £400,000.

The position has since grown to around 2,366 TAO-equivalent of subnet tokens, reflecting both continued participation and emissions, the term used for token rewards distributed to active network participants.

Leadpoet is focused on AI-driven lead generation, using an AI agent to identify and deliver sales prospects to clients on demand.

The investment forms part of Astrid's stated strategy of building operational positions across multiple Bittensor subnets, participating in network activity while integrating with AI services that have commercial applications.

Chief executive Siam Kidd said Leadpoet had demonstrated strong early progress and that the company's approach was to engage with subnets delivering real-world utility.

Astrid said it would provide further updates on its expanding operational footprint across the Bittensor network as its subnet participation develops.
