Tooru returns Pulsin to shelves and lands Virgin Atlantic listing in upbeat trading update

Plant-based food group reports improved order flow and new Swiss distribution deal as it eyes further acquisitions

Tooru PLC (AIM:TOO, FRA:73N), the plant-based and free-from food group, has reported a string of commercial developments that its board says marks the start of a period of sustained growth following earlier supply chain disruption.

The most significant operational development is the return of Pulsin, the protein bar and powder brand, to full availability across retail partners in the UK and Europe, after a period of constrained production that had weighed on the business.

The group said early indications show a meaningful improvement in order flow, with retail partners stepping up restocking activity across key markets.

On the international front, a new distribution agreement for Pulsin bars and powders in Switzerland will go live in April, adding to a European expansion push that the board said has further markets under active discussion.

Purely Plantain, another brand in the portfolio, has secured a listing with Virgin Atlantic, with rollout expected across 2026, giving the crisp brand access to an international customer base at scale.

The group's OAF brand, which targets the allergy and free-from market, will exhibit at the Allergy and Free From Show at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre in May.

Tooru also opened new headquarters in Great Queen Street, London, and said it is exploring acquisition opportunities, with a further update to the market expected in due course.
