Cloudbreak Discovery PLC (LSE:CDL, OTC:CDBDF) shares moved up in Friday's trade, rising 17% to 0.5p, after the explorer set out its 2026 gold exploration plan for its Darlot West and Crofton projects in Western Australia, with drilling at Darlot West edging closer as the company pushes ahead with approvals and target definition.
At Darlot West, the company is planning an initial 3,000m to 5,000m drilling programme to test structural targets identified through recent geophysical interpretation and surface exploration. A Program of Work application has already been submitted, with approval expected in the coming weeks.
Cloudbreak said recent sampling at Darlot West has helped sharpen its focus, including work around historical shallow gold workings.
Meanwhile, at Crofton, the company is preparing broader surface geochemical work after the wet season in April, including mapping, rock chip sampling and an extensive soil survey over about 10 square kms
