Orthocell Ltd managing director Paul Anderson talked with Proactive about the company’s Remplir™ nerve repair device and its recent real-world application in treating Ukrainian soldiers in combat. The company reported that Remplir™ has now been used in 23 surgical procedures, primarily addressing trauma-related nerve damage sustained on the battlefield.
Anderson explained that 20 of these cases involved post-injury trauma to damaged nerves, with the company receiving “such positive feedback from the Ukrainian military” following the treatments.
With a growing pipeline of hospital approvals and increasing adoption, Orthocell is positioning Remplir™ as a next-generation solution in regenerative medicine, offering more consistent and predictable clinical outcomes.
