Futura Medical PLC (AIM:FUM, OTC:FAMDF, FRA:GYX), the AIM-listed sexual health company behind erectile dysfunction gel Eroxon, has received formal grant of a US continuation patent protecting the product and related formulations until 2040.
The patent also covers WSD4000, a women's sexual health product currently in development.
Under its existing licence agreement with consumer health giant Haleon, the grant is expected to trigger a milestone payment of $2.5 million to Futura.
