Belararox hits shallow high-grade silver at Toro Central, confirms new mineralised zone

Belararox Ltd (ASX:BRX, OTC:BRXLF) has reported high-grade silver results from drilling at its Toro Central prospect in Argentina, with the second hole confirming a newly identified near-surface mineralised zone and reinforcing the potential for a broader silver system.

Results from hole TMT-TC-DDH-002 returned 47 metres at 171.99 grams per tonne (g/t) silver from 59 metres, including 27 metres at 290.55 g/t silver, alongside zinc, copper, gold and lead credits.

A second, deeper interval returned 48 metres at 55.76 g/t silver from 130 metres, interpreted as a continuation of mineralisation intersected in historical drilling.

Plan view of simplified geology of Toro Central. The red dashed outline highlights the target zone, which appears to be structurally controlled and is characterised by anomalous Ag, Au and Cu from surface sampling (Table 1) and historical drilling (labelled in italics).

The upper zone represents a new, previously undrilled high-grade silver discovery close to surface, highlighting potential for shallow mineralisation amenable to future development scenarios.

Belararox said the results confirm the presence of structurally controlled silver-rich mineralisation at Toro Central, with multiple zones now identified.

“The BRX exploration teams' previous mapping and sampling displayed positive signs of silver at Toro Central, and now this drilling has confirmed the presence of a very compelling silver- rich mineralised zone. This is an excellent result from only the second drill hole at Toro Central, confirming a new shallow high-grade silver zone with strong polymetallic credits. Importantly, mineralisation remains open in multiple directions and follow-up drilling is already underway to test extensions. Our team in Argentina have proven up the concept of silver mineralisation, so BRX could be on the cusp of a potential major new silver discovery in the highly prospective Vilcuna mineral belt," BRX executive director Chris Gale said.

"With follow-up drilling now underway at Toro Central, we are in a highly active exploration phase across the TMT Project. We expect assay results for TMT drilling to be ongoing now, hopefully bringing more positive results for our shareholders.”

Multiple zones emerging as follow-up drilling targets extensions

The company noted that both the shallow and deeper zones remain open along strike and down dip, with follow-up drilling already underway to test extensions and assess continuity.

Subsequent drilling, including hole TMT-TC-DDH-003, is targeting positions approximately 250 metres along strike to evaluate the scale of the system and confirm the structural controls interpreted from early results.

Toro Central is being explored as a shallow, high-grade epithermal target within the broader Toro-Malambo-Tambo (TMT) project, where historical drilling and surface sampling have outlined mineralisation over more than 750 metres of strike.

The system is characterised by silver-gold-copper-zinc-lead mineralisation, interpreted to be structurally controlled, supporting the potential for multiple high-grade zones within the broader target area.

Belararox said early drilling success is validating its exploration model, with the first hole intersecting target geology but no significant mineralisation, followed by a strong result in the second hole that has defined a new zone.

With drilling ongoing, the company expects a steady flow of assay results from Toro Central and other targets across the TMT project in the coming weeks.

The next phase of work will focus on step-out drilling to extend the high-grade zones along strike and at depth, while continuing to test additional targets across the broader project area.
