ATOME PLC (AIM:ATOM), the AIM-listed low-carbon fertiliser developer, has received an "Excellent" rating from Sustainable Fitch, an independent sustainable finance ratings provider, for its Green Finance Framework.
The framework, which governs how debt financing proceeds will be tracked and managed, relates to Atome's 260,000 tonne-per-year low-carbon fertiliser plant under development at Villeta, Paraguay.
Sustainable Fitch said the framework demonstrates robust governance and aligns with key Green Loan Principles.
The rating follows the recent signing of a $420 million debt package for the Villeta project.
