Pantoro Gold Ltd managing director Paul Cmrlec talked with Proactive about the latest high-grade gold intercepts returned from underground drilling at the Butterfly area within the Mainfield mining centre at the company’s Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia.
Cmrlec explained that the results come from drilling conducted from the Bullen Decline, where Pantoro Gold is targeting extensions of the historic Mararoa Reef system. This area has already produced an estimated 1.4 million ounces of gold and continues to demonstrate strong exploration potential.
He highlighted that the first phase of drilling has returned several high-grade intercepts with solid widths, reinforcing confidence in the geological model. According to Cmrlec, the early program is delivering consistent results in a system known for its nuggety, high-grade nature.
