Far East Gold Ltd (ASX:FEG) CEO Shane Menere talked with Proactive about the latest drilling results from the Sua prospect within the company’s Idenburg Gold Project in Papua, Indonesia, where recent extension drilling has delivered encouraging high-grade gold intersections and further confirmed the scale potential of the mineralised system.
The results successfully extended mineralisation approximately 100 metres down dip and along strike toward the northeast, while the system also shows potential to extend to the southwest.
The company is now preparing an updated mineral resource estimate incorporating the latest drilling results, which Menere said could be released within the next few weeks. Far East Gold is also advancing an expansion drilling program aimed at extending the mineralised footprint and growing the resource base further.
