Red Mountain extends high-grade antimony footprint at Oaky Creek

Red Mountain Mining Ltd (ASX:RMX) has extended high-grade antimony mineralisation at its Oaky Creek prospect within the Armidale Antimony-Gold Project in NSW, with the latest auger soil and rock assay results highlighting new drill-ready targets.

The standout result was a newly discovered stibnite vein rock sample grading 28.1% antimony, collected about 600 metres north-northwest of the Oaky Creek South workings, pointing to a possible new extension of the mineralised system. Another rock sample from Oaky Creek South returned 0.4% antimony, suggesting mineralisation may continue along strike beyond the main cluster of historical workings.

At Oaky Creek South, new auger soil assays returned up to 251 parts per million antimony and 1,443ppm arsenic, extending a previously defined 200m by 30m antimony-arsenic anomaly by about 60 metres to the northeast. The anomaly remains open in that direction and is shaping up as a priority drill target for the second quarter of 2026.

Oaky Creek North adds support for broader system

Initial auger results from the southern end of Oaky Creek North also reinforced the prospect’s potential, with soil values of up to 137ppm antimony and 334ppm arsenic outlining a coherent north-northwest trending anomaly.

The company said these results align with previously identified conventional soil anomalies and stibnite-bearing rock chip mineralisation, adding further support for widespread antimony mineralisation across Oaky Creek.

Red Mountain said its soil and rock chip work now points to a significant antimony-gold system with a strike extent of about 3 kilometres at surface. Rock sampling to date has produced values of up to 39.3% antimony and 1.09 parts per million gold, while 42 rock samples from Oaky Creek have now returned grades above 0.5% antimony.

The company is still waiting on assays from about 900 auger soil samples collected in January and February, with results expected before the end of March. These will be used to refine multiple drill targets at both Oaky Creek North and South ahead of planned drill testing in Q2 2026.
