1911 Gold Corp (TSX-V:AUMB, OTCQB:AUMBF, FRA:2KY) said on Wednesday that recent underground drilling at its True North Gold Project in Manitoba confirmed the continuity of gold mineralization in areas planned for early mining as the company advances preparations for a potential restart of production.
The company released assay results from 25 drill holes totaling 3,894 metres from an underground infill and delineation program targeting mineral resources outlined in a recent preliminary economic assessment for the project.
The drilling focused on the V-810 vein in the Hinge Zone and the V-1030 and V-1040 veins in the L10 Zone, both located near Level 16 of the mine, roughly 695 metres below surface.
According to the company, results from the Hinge Zone confirmed the continuity of the V-810 vein and returned wider mineralized intervals than previously modeled. Highlights included intercepts such as 10.79 grams per tonne of gold over 2.2 metres and 6.62 grams per tonne over 3.4 metres.
Additional drilling returned grades including 5.02 grams per tonne of gold over 6 metres and 6.65 grams per tonne over 2.2 metres, with higher-grade intervals within several holes.
In the L10 Zone, infill drilling confirmed continuity of the V-1040 vein, including an intercept of 4.38 grams per tonne of gold over 1 metre in one drill hole.
CEO Shaun Heinrichs said the results mark the first set of assays from the underground program aimed at reducing risk as the company works toward a planned production restart.
“The drilling at Hinge and L10 not only confirms the continuity of gold mineralization in these veins but also demonstrates that these zones are wider on average than previously modelled,” Heinrichs told investors.
The underground program began in October 2025 with one drill rig operating on Level 16, with a second rig added in early November. The work is focused on upgrading and delineating resources scheduled for the initial years of mining and supporting bulk sampling and test mining planned later this year.
Beyond areas included in the mine plan, the company said it is also testing additional targets within the mine footprint, including the Shore and San Antonio Southeast extensions.
Two surface drill rigs have also been mobilized to test near-surface extensions of mineralization at the San Antonio West, San Antonio Southeast and Shore targets, with further results expected as assays are received.
