Trust Stamp acquires Lexverify, takes stake in Cyberfish to expand cybersecurity capabilities

Trust Stamp Inc (NASDAQ:IDAI, ISE:AIID), the AI-powered identity and security firm, said on Tuesday it had completed two acquisitions aimed at strengthening its cybersecurity and risk-management technology offerings.

The company said it acquired 100% of the outstanding share capital of Lexverify Ltd in February 2026, and subscribed for a 50% ownership stake in Cyberfish CyberPsychology Solutions Ltd just this week.

All three companies previously participated in the accelerator run by the UK National Cyber Security Centre, part of Britain’s intelligence and cybersecurity agency GCHQ, which supports technologies designed to enhance cyber resilience.

Trust Stamp president Andrew Gowasack said the deals would allow the companies to combine their technologies and expertise to develop new cybersecurity solutions and expand commercial opportunities.

“We believe each of these enterprises has unique and significant potential in their own right,” Gowasack said, adding that integrating the companies’ technologies could create product development synergies and cross-selling opportunities.

He said the integration would combine Cyberfish’s expertise in building simulations of business disruption and crisis-management scenarios with Lexverify’s work in training and deploying large language models (LLMs).

The combination could help create a new approach to training LLM systems to model and resolve customized risk scenarios for clients across industries, Gowasack added.

He also said the transactions would strengthen the company’s leadership team, noting that the CEOs of both acquired firms would play roles in the broader Trust Stamp organization.

Berta Pappenheim, founder and CEO of Cyberfish, said the partnership would help expand the company’s crisis-simulation platform, which delivers gamified training scenarios through its Dojo portal.

Pappenheim said Cyberfish has worked with cybersecurity decision-makers across UK government departments, critical national infrastructure operators and global enterprises, and that Trust Stamp’s international reach would help scale the platform.

“We’ve worked with hundreds of cyber security decision makers … and Trust Stamp’s partnership will supercharge our portal and amplify our reach,” she said.

Cristian Gherhes, co-founder and CEO of Lexverify, said joining Trust Stamp would accelerate the company’s goal of simplifying risk prevention and compliance management.

“Trust Stamp is leading the way in AI-powered, privacy-first digital identity and biometric authentication solutions, and our shared commitment to innovation makes this a very exciting next step,” Gherhes said.

Trust Stamp said the deals are expected to support its broader strategy of expanding AI-driven identity, risk and compliance technologies as organizations face growing cybersecurity threats and regulatory requirements.
