Various Eateries PLC (AIM:VARE, FRA:63U), the AIM-listed hospitality group behind the Coppa Club and Noci restaurant brands, has agreed to buy a portfolio of four premium pubs with rooms from Grosvenor Pubs and Inns for £11.25 million.
The four sites, Wild Thyme & Honey in the Cotswolds, The Hare & Hounds in Berkshire, The Stag on the River in Surrey and The Wellington Arms in Hampshire, are expected to complete on or around 23 March 2026.
The acquired venues will trade as a new third brand, The Linwood Collection, sitting alongside the group's existing operations.
The group has also agreed terms to potentially acquire a fifth site, The Queen's Head in Surrey, though that purchase is subject to an asset of community value process that is expected to delay exchange by at least six weeks.
Four of the five sites are freehold, while The Wellington Arms is held on a long leasehold and its acquisition remains subject to landlord consent.
The four sites generated aggregate revenue of approximately £10.5 million in the 52 weeks to 28 December 2025, with site-level earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of approximately £1.5 million, according to unaudited management information provided by the seller.
To fund the purchase, the group has secured a £15 million debt facility with HSBC UK Bank, comprising an £8 million three-year term loan and a £7 million revolving credit facility, and said it does not intend to raise equity.
The company also announced plans to change its name to Coppa Collective plc and adopt the stock ticker "COPC", pending completion of legal and regulatory formalities, to better reflect its evolution into a multi-format hospitality group.
