eEnergy PLC (AIM:EAAS), the AIM-quoted Energy-as-a-Service provider, saw its shares on the front foot on Wednesday after it announced £1.8 million of new business across the education and healthcare sectors.
The firm said it had won two contracts for solar PV and LED upgrades as it targets further growth in public-sector energy efficiency.
Via a Unity Schools Partnership contract award, it secured a £1.1m deal to supply and install rooftop solar photovoltaic systems across 19 schools, with 300kW of generation expected across the portfolio.
Separately, eEnergy won a £0.7m contract to deliver a full LED lighting upgrade across seven buildings at Plymouth University Hospital, supported by NHS England NEEF funding.
In London, eEnergy shares climbed 3.16%, changing hands at 5.26p.
