Kairos reports high-grade hits at Main Hill Extension as Mt York MRE update targeted for H1 2026

Kairos Minerals Ltd (ASX:KAI, OTCQB:KAIFF, FRA:YAJ) has reported further drill results from the Main Hill Extension target at its 1.4Moz Mt York Gold Project in Western Australia’s Pilbara, with assays from the final 11 holes of the 2025 program confirming continuity of mineralisation along the 1,500-metre-long trend.

The best intercept returned was 8 metres at 3.81 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 128 metres, including 1 metre at 11.16g/t from 133 metre in hole 25MYDD085. The result sits about 50 metres down dip from a previously reported intercept of 9 metres at 3.92g/t from 97 metres in hole 25MYDD072, supporting the presence of wide, higher-grade zones within the Main Hill Extension.

Other previously announced results from the extension include 16 metres at 2.60g/t from 143 metres in 25MYDD082 and 9 metres at 2.66g/t from 27 metres in 25MYRC026.

Significant diamond and RC drilling results across the Main Hill Extension area, E45/2241. Results in white boxes are current drilling results and historic results are shown in yellow boxes. Note the righthand side of the figure is contained in Kairos’ granted mining lease M45/1306.

The prospect, located on tenement E45/2241 under a mineral rights agreement with Pilbara Minerals, has not previously been subject to systematic resource drilling despite historical intercepts. Any additional gold defined across the 1,500 metres strike extent is expected to contribute directly to the existing 1.4Moz Mt York resource base.

“Kairos is well underway with a new mineral resource estimate over the Mt York Gold Project that will, for the first time, incorporate all the drilling results for Mt York’s 1,500m extension, where we have clearly demonstrated good widths and grades of gold mineralisation as well as other areas drilled during last year’s 27,000m campaign," Kairos managing director Dr Peter Turner said.

“Drill planning is also well advanced and an aggressive 2026 drill programme of up to 50,000 metres is underway — we anticipate having two diamond rigs on site at Mt York before the end of March with negotiations underway to increase the number to four in April.

“We have already identified many opportunities to increase resources at Mt York further and look forward to delivering multiple resource increases this year through the drill-bit not just at Mt York, but also to start drilling at our Roe Hills Gold Project in the Kalgoorlie area.”

Drilling to expand resource base in 2026

During 2025, Kairos completed 27,018 metres of drilling at Mt York, including 6,854 metres at Main Hill Extension. The program confirmed continuity of the Mt York mineralised stratigraphy, although the company noted that several faults have displaced the host sequence, resulting in some early holes being positioned sub-optimally.

The Main Hill Extension remains largely untested below 100 metres vertical depth and is only broadly drilled along strike. Kairos plans to extend drilling to depths of up to 300 metres below surface as part of a broader 25,000–50,000-metre campaign across its gold assets in 2026. The program will focus on infill drilling to better define newly identified high-grade shoots and assess plunge controls on mineralisation.

Drilling is scheduled to resume this month, targeting additional resource growth opportunities along the broader 4.2-kilometre gold corridor, including undrilled zones between Main Hill and Main Hill Extension.

All results from the 2025 drilling program at Mt York will be incorporated into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate expected in H1 2026. This will mark the first MRE to include the Main Hill Extension area.

Kairos intends to use the updated resource as the basis for progressing a Pre-Feasibility Study in 2026. The company reported $35 million in cash at bank and recently secured a mining lease over Mt York, positioning it to advance resource expansion and development studies.
