Empire Metals Ltd (AIM:EEE, OTCQX:EPMLF) told investors that its shares are now DTC (Deposit Trust Company) eligible, wich is a technical but investor-facing step that makes it easier for US brokers and investors to trade the UK-listed explorer’s stock via electronic clearing and settlement.
The company, which also trades in the US on OTCQX under EPMLF, said eligibility with the Depository Trust Company streamlines settlement and expands distribution across a wider network of US brokerage firms, changes it expects will support liquidity in its US market.
Managing director Shaun Bunn called the move “a significant step forward” that “simplifies” participation for US investors while broadening the potential shareholder base, tying it to Empire’s focus on improving liquidity and shareholder value.
"This milestone aligns with our commitment to enhancing liquidity and shareholder value, making it easier and more efficient for investors to participate in the growth of our company," Shaun Bunn said.
Empire is focused on commercialising the Pitfield Titanium Project in Western Australia, where it has outlined a mineral resource estimate of 2.2 billion tonnes at 5.1% TiO₂ and said processing has produced 99.25% TiO₂ product suitable for titanium sponge metal or pigment feedstock.
