Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF, FRA:1SS) announced that its Eventdex platform has been selected to provide AI-based matchmaking services for the 2026 Connecticut Business Matchmaker, a small-business procurement and networking event hosted in partnership with the US Small Business Administration (SBA).
The event is scheduled to take place on March 5, 2026, at the Connecticut Convention Center.
The platform will be used to schedule one-on-one meetings between small businesses and representatives from federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as major prime contractors, including Pratt & Whitney, General Dynamics Electric Boat, Sikorsky Lockheed Martin, and BAE Systems.
Each meeting is pre-scheduled for 12 minutes, providing an opportunity for small businesses to present their capabilities directly to procurement representatives.
According to Nextech3D.ai, Eventdex leverages AI-driven matching to align small business suppliers with buyers based on factors such as capability statements, procurement requirements, certifications, industry alignment, and business readiness indicators.
The goal is to create more structured and relevant meeting schedules, helping participants explore potential procurement opportunities and strengthen regional and national supply chains.
In addition to matchmaking sessions, the CT Business Matchmaker will include training workshops and a business expo featuring lenders, resource partners, and government organizations that support small-business growth.
"We appreciate the opportunity to support the SBA and its esteemed partners for the 2026 CT Business Matchmaker," Nextech3D.ai CEO Evan Gappelberg said.
"The event provides an important forum for small businesses seeking to engage in federal, state, and prime contractor procurement. Our AI Eventdex platform is designed to assist organizers in managing complex scheduling requirements and facilitating efficient, AI‑based matchmaking."
