Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (TSX-V:GMG, OTCQX:GMGMF) has announced a partnership with Tickford Racing, an Australian Supercars team, to trial GMG’s liquid graphene products in motorsport applications.
Under the agreement, Tickford Racing will test GMG products, including G LUBRICANT and THERMAL-XR, on its vehicles and within its operational processes.
The team will also feature the GMG logo on its race cars, promote the company on its website and social media channels, and host track and pit customer events.
The collaboration is structured around a "test, learn and scale" approach, with initial trials intended to capture performance data and identify potential applications beyond racing, including industrial uses.
GMG said the partnership provides an opportunity to explore graphene-enabled technologies in high-demand performance environments.
As part of the collaboration, the companies plan to examine operational efficiency across Tickford’s workshop and event infrastructure, document outcomes through case studies, create content connecting motorsport with advanced materials science, and engage business-to-business partners through Tickford Racing’s corporate network.
The partnership aims to combine Tickford Racing’s motorsport expertise with GMG’s materials technology to explore efficiency and performance improvements both on the track and in broader industrial contexts.
“[Tickford Racing] operate in a world where preparation, reliability and execution are non-negotiable, and that makes them an ideal partner to help us validate performance thinking in the real world,” GMG CEO Craig Nichol said in a statement.
“We're thrilled to join forces with a team known for innovation and outcomes under pressure and to celebrate the proof points we build together through our test—learn—scale approach in support of GMG's growth and customers.”
Simon Brookhouse, Tickford Racing CEO, described teaming up with GMG as an exciting step for the team.
"GMG's work sits at the intersection of advanced materials and real-world efficiency, and that's a space we're passionate about exploring,” Brookhouse said. “While this isn't about changing what's on the race car, it is about applying an elite performance mindset to trials, insights and outcomes that can translate into everyday industry.
