Shopify Inc (TSX:SH., NYSE:SHOP) delivered strong fourth quarter financial results and provided encouraging guidance for the first quarter of 2026, prompting Jefferies analysts to maintain their ‘Hold’ rating on the stock with a $125 price target.

Shares of Shopify added 9% to trade just shy of this target at about $124 on Wednesday afternoon.

Moderna Inc (NASDAQ:MRNA, XETRA:0QF) announced that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will initiate review of its investigational seasonal influenza vaccine, mRNA-1010, following a Type A meeting between the company and the agency.

Shares of Moderna added 6.5% at about $47 on the update.

Wingstop Inc (NASDAQ:WING) has reported fourth quarter results that topped Wall Street expectations for earnings per share, sending the stock almost 15% higher on Wednesday morning, even as total revenue fell slightly short of analyst projections.

The fast-food chain reported fourth quarter revenue of $175.7 million, up 8.6% from the same period last year but below the $177.8 million expected by analysts.

Shares in AFC Energy PLC (AIM:AFC, OTC:AFGYF, FRA:QC8) rose 4% to 12.78p after the company secured a revision to its research and development permit, allowing it to export and sell low-carbon hydrogen from its pilot ammonia-cracking plant.

AFC, a London-listed hydrogen power technology company, said the UK Environment Agency had agreed to amend the permit to allow sales to hydrogen off-takers, accelerating revenue generation from low-carbon hydrogen production by several months.
