Askari Metals Ltd executive director Gino D’Anna talked with Proactive about early trenching results at the company’s 100%-owned Uis Project in Namibia, which confirmed “strong, continuous polymetallic mineralisation” across the DP Pegmatite Target and paved the way for a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program planned for the June quarter.
D’Anna explained that recent trenching demonstrated consistent mineralisation across the full strike of the pegmatite, with appreciable grades identified at surface. He noted that the trenching had been conducted within oxidised rock, adding that the company expects potential grade improvement once drilling reaches fresh rock zones.
