Golden Gate discovery: Resolution Minerals funded for 2026 drilling - ICYMI

Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML, OTC:RLMLF, FRA:NC3) earlier this week outlined details of a newly defined gold discovery at its Horse Heaven project in Idaho, highlighting drilling results that point to significant scale potential and supporting an expanded exploration program in 2026.

The company said the Golden Gate discovery sits within its 100%-owned Horse Heaven gold-tungsten-silver project, which covers approximately 15,000 acres and lies immediately adjacent to Perpetua Resources’ Stibnite gold project, a fully permitted open-pit operation.

Speaking to Proactive, CEO – US Operations Craig Lindsay said drilling completed in late 2025 confirmed extensive gold mineralisation across multiple targets.

Interview highlights

  • Resolution Minerals announced a new gold discovery named Golden Gate at the Horse Heaven project in Idaho
  • The project is 100% owned and located next to Perpetua’s Stibnite gold project
  • Drilling confirmed wide gold intercepts at both Golden Gate North and South
  • Results suggest the two zones may be structurally linked over a multi-kilometre fault system
  • Recent drilling extended beyond historic shallow depths and remains open in all directions
  • The company is fully funded with ~A$15 million cash for a 2026 drill program
  • Drilling could commence as early as May, subject to weather conditions
  • A compliant mineral resource estimate is targeted by year-end

New gold discovery

Proactive: Welcome back to Proactive Investors. I’m your host, Kerry Stevenson. Resolution Minerals is listed on the ASX and OTC. I’m joined by Craig Lindsay, CEO of US Operations. Craig, you’re pretty excited today — tell us about this new gold discovery.

Craig Lindsay: The gold discovery is called Golden Gate. It’s within the Horse Heaven project in Idaho, a 15,000-acre project that we own 100%. Horse Heaven is immediately adjacent to Perpetua’s Stibnite gold project, which is a large, advanced-stage, fully permitted open-pit gold mine with a significant antimony component.

Proactive: What have the drill results shown so far?

Craig Lindsay: We drilled ten core holes in the fall of 2025. At Golden Gate North, we intersected over 200 metres at about 1.3 grams per tonne gold, with higher-grade zones of 120 metres at 2.3 grams per tonne. At Golden Gate South, we reported 173 metres at 0.463 grams per tonne gold, which suggests the two areas may be linked along the same fault zone.

Proactive: How significant is the scale potential?

Craig Lindsay: Golden Gate North is about 700 metres long, and Golden Gate South sits roughly 1.5 kilometres to the south. They lie on the same structure. We believe this could be one of the most important gold discoveries in the US in 2025.

Proactive: What about drilling depth?

Craig Lindsay: Historically, drilling stopped at around 500 feet. We’ve drilled holes exceeding 1,000 feet, and all of them ended in open mineralisation. The system is open to the north, south and at depth.

Proactive: How is the company funded?

Craig Lindsay: We had about A$15 million in the bank at December 31, 2025, so we’re fully funded for the 2026 drill program. We’re aiming to start drilling as early as May, weather permitting.
