Scaffolding specialist Billington was climbing high after saying half year results would be significantly ahead of market expectations.

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes on Monday.

RISERS

Billington (LON:BILN), up 18.8%.The structural steel and construction safety specialist cheered the market with its half-year trading update, as it lifted profits guidance “significantly”.

Connemara (LON:CON), up 18.2%. It must have been a stormer of an AGM speech today from chairman John Teeling in Dublin. “Final judgement has been made on the sums due to Connemara from Trampus Ltd in relation to a failed court action. Payment is awaited,” Teeling told shareholders.

Seeing Machines (LON:SEE), up 13.5%. The driver safety technology firm has deepened its relationship with US industrial and agricultural vehicles giant Caterpillar, while Aussie transport and logistics firm Toll has signed up as a customer.

FALLERS

RISERS

Bovis Homes (LON:BVS), up 2.3%. The house builder saw its average selling rise by 6% year-on-year to £222,000 in the first half of the year, as it completed a record number of house sales.

easyJet (LON:EZJ), up 0.4%. The low-cost airline’s stock is rising in a falling market, after it released passenger statistics for June that showed the load factor – how full its aircraft are - had increased to 92.7% from 92.0% in June of last year.

Wizz Air Holdings (LON:WIZZ), up 0.3%. Wizz Air’s load factor in June went up even more than easyJet’s – from 89.7% in June 2014 to 90.8% in June 2015.

FALLERS

Man Group (LON:EMG), down 4.1%. The hedge fund manager takes a bath as global stock markets fall following Greece’s referendum vote yesterday.

TUI (LON:TUI), down 3.2%, and Thomas Cook (LON:TCG), down 2.7%. The FTSE 350 index is off 0.6% so the response to the Greek vote has been relatively stoical, but the two package tour giants TUI and Thomas Cook have been hit harder than most.
