Workday Inc (NASDAQ:WDAY) shares fell more than 6% after the company announced that co-founder and current executive chair Aneel Bhusri will return as chief executive officer.
Carl Eschenbach, who has served as CEO for the past three years, is stepping down and leaving the board but will remain involved as a strategic advisor to Bhusri, the company said.
Kroger Co (NYSE:KR, XETRA:KOG) shares added more than 6% on Monday morning following the grocery chain's announcement that Greg Foran has been named as its new CEO.
Foran succeeds Ron Sargent, who had served as interim CEO since March 2025, and will also join Kroger’s Board of Directors.
Transocean (NYSE:RIG) and Valaris (NYSE:VAL) announced on Monday that they have entered a definitive agreement to combine the two offshore drilling companies, with Transocean acquiring Valaris in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $5.8 billion.
Under the agreement, Transocean shareholders are expected to hold about 53% of the combined company on a fully diluted basis, while Valaris shareholders will own the remaining 47%.
Shares of Monday.com (NASDAQ:MNDY) fell more than 20% in early trading on Monday after the work management software maker issued a weaker-than-expected outlook, overshadowing a fourth-quarter earnings and revenue beat.
The company forecast 2026 revenue of $1.45 billion to $1.46 billion, below analysts’ average estimate of $1.48 billion, and guided for operating income of $165 million to $175 million, well short of expectations of about $218 million, according to consensus estimates.
Sally Beauty Holdings (NYSE:SBH) reported fiscal first quarter results that modestly topped Wall Street expectations, with shares rising about 4.5% in early trading on Monday following the release.
The beauty products retailer posted revenue of $943.2 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, up 0.6% year over year and slightly above analyst estimates of $940.5 million.

Him & Hers (NYSE:HIMS) shares are set to open 23% lower at about $18 after the telehealth company announced over the weekend that it will stop offering a compounded oral version of semaglutide, the active ingredient in Novo Nordisk’s weight-loss drug Wegovy, following regulatory scrutiny and industry backlash.
“Since launching the compounded semaglutide pill on our platform, we’ve had constructive conversations with stakeholders across the industry,” Hims & Hers said in a statement on Saturday. “As a result, we have decided to stop offering access to this treatment. We remain committed to the millions of Americans who depend on us for access to safe, affordable, and personalized care.”
Shares in Phoenix Copper Ltd (AIM:PXC, OTCQX:PXCLF, FRA:5HR) fell 45% to 1.1p after the US-focused base and precious metals producer said it had suspended its executive chairman and chief financial officer with immediate effect.
In a stock exchange statement, Phoenix said chair Marcus Edwards-Jones and CFO and company secretary Richard Wilkins were subject to the suspension.
