Etana Energy has signed a ten-year power purchase agreement to supply 220 megawatts of renewable electricity annually to Sibanye-Stillwater’s mining operations in South Africa, marking a significant step forward for the Chariot Ltd (AIM:CHAR, OTC:OIGLF) backed energy trader.

Chariot, the Africa-focused energy company listed on AIM, holds a 34% interest in Etana Energy through its subsidiary, Chariot Generation and Trading.

Terrain Minerals Ltd (ASX:TMX, OTC:TMXAF, FRA:T4Y) earlier this week outlined significant progress at its Smokebush Gold & Silver Project in Western Australia, with executive director Justin Virgin detailing how recent drilling success is advancing the company toward a maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate targeted for mid-2026.

Speaking with Proactive, Virgin said the company had now completed more than 100 drill holes at the Lightning Prospect, supported by induced polarisation surveys that had materially improved Terrain Minerals’ understanding of the geology. He noted that the IP work had resulted in a revised geological model and helped identify blind mineralisation beneath cover.

AuMEGA Metals Ltd (ASX:AAM, TSX:AUM, OTCQB:AUMMF, FRA:FRA: MA30) earlier this week outlined why it believes the market is undervaluing its Cape Ray Project in southwestern Newfoundland, pointing to an established gold resource and a growing pipeline of exploration targets close to an operating gold mine.

Speaking with Proactive, CEO Sam Pazuki said the company has already defined meaningful gold ounces, something he suggested investors may be overlooking. AuMEGA Metals has approximately 450,000 ounces of gold in the indicated category and a further 160,000 ounces inferred, at an average grade of around two grams per tonne. He noted that roughly 95% of the mineralisation is within 150 metres of surface.

Provaris Energy Ltd (ASX:PV1, OTC:GBBLF, FRA:WS90) earlier this week outlined continued progress across its hydrogen and CO₂ transport strategies, highlighting technical milestones and commercial positioning as it works toward key investment decisions expected in 2026.

Managing director and CEO Martin Carolan said the company had advanced commercial readiness within its hydrogen program, including further definition of commercial models with Japanese partner Kawasaki. He noted that Provaris Energy had also renewed key hydrogen agreements with Norwegian Hydrogen and extended its offtake arrangement with Uniper in Germany, providing continuity for the company’s first export project through to 2026.
