Lightning Minerals Ltd (ASX:L1M, FRA:YZ1) managing director and CEO Alex Biggs has given the company three months’ notice, with the board now searching for a new CEO.
Biggs will remain in the role until a replacement is appointed, unless otherwise agreed between him and the company.
Company chairman David Vilensky said: “Even though he will not be leaving immediately and will assist in a smooth transition to the new CEO, the Board thanks Mr Biggs for his contribution and service to the company and wishes him well for the future. The company will continue to focus on its wholly owned Mt Turner Gold Project in Queensland where drilling results to date have confirmed a large-scale mineralised system with planning well advanced for its fully funded Phase 2 drilling program.”
Alex has been exceptional and an enormous help in giving Proactive his time every time we have asked. We wish him all the best in whatever comes next and will continue to be in touch until he leaves Lighting.
