VivoPower International PLC (NASDAQ:VVPR, FRA:51J) said it has completed a definitive agreement with South Korea’s KWeather Co that will allow the company to exit its digital asset holdings and refocus on its data center infrastructure business.
Under the agreement, KWeather, a KOSDAQ-listed company, will acquire the economic rights to a portion of VivoPower’s holdings in Ripple Labs shares, while VivoPower will receive a 20% equity stake in KWeather valued at about $4.3 million.
The remaining Ripple Labs shares held by VivoPower will be acquired by Lean Ventures of South Korea under a definitive partnership agreement announced in December 2025, the company said.
VivoPower said the transactions provide a mechanism for the company to strategically exit its digital asset exposure. The company said it will not acquire any further digital assets on its balance sheet and has not incurred any aggregate realized or unrealized losses on its digital asset positions.
The company added that all Ripple Labs share transactions with KWeather and Lean Ventures will be conducted at market value and in accordance with Ripple Labs’ approval process.
VivoPower said it will continue to focus its capital and resources on scaling up its powered land and data center infrastructure business to support artificial intelligence compute applications.
